Oh, no...that is not a short squeeze. When a short squeeze occurs, you'll know it because the sky will be a bright azure blue. A gentle warm breeze will softly caress your skin. The sweet smells of spring flowers will perfume the air. The birds will sing their joyful songs. The sick will be healed. The lame will again walk. The blind will see...20/20. Peace will break out across the globe. Longs will rejoice. Shorts will cry out in pain, having lost all. The greedy hedge fund operators involved in NSS will be marched off to jail in bright orange attire. The incompetent/corrupt SEC officials will be permanently dismissed from public service in dishonor. The compromised media talking heads will be forever silenced in shame for their complicity. The Easter Bunny will retire to a long and happy life of doing what bunnies do best...we should all be as lucky. NFI stock price will be fairly valued again. And if you're still in doubt, each NFI share will continue to pay at least $5.60 plus possible specials dividends each year.

When you see these signs manifest, my son, you will know that a short squeeze has finally arrived. Go, therefore, in peace, and kick some short butt.

I would like to see the stock halted so that all of the positions are locked in place. An announcement that they had to amend the lawsuit to include a bunch more Does would really make my day. A few more hedge funds, a broker or two, some journalists. No trading in the stock until it is figured out how many illegally sold shares there are. When it opened up, legitimate shorts would be harmed as much as naked shorters, but Patrick gave warning about this months ago with the schoolbus analogy. Legitimate shorts should have a claim against the illegal shorts and their brokers for creating a dishonest market. Anyone who was lending their shares for a fee would have a claim because they were not getting FMV for interest.
