I just read "Dr. Byrne & Journalists". Knowing little of any of this and assuming it has basis in reality, I must say it was the best reality entertainment I have had. Ever. Thank you Tim. Thank you PMB. Thank you Pat & Tim.

As regards regulating stock selling. The buyer and broker/seller should negotiate delivery time for shares together with price. Forfeiture results in full cash-back for the buyer and loss of benefit for the broker/seller. This will allow legitimate short selling, force brokers to deal only in deliverable stock, and give buyers an indication of deliverability of stock (ie. from the offered timeframe/price matrix).
