(OTCBB: NMKT - News) finished 2006 meeting its forecast of $70 million in revenue for 2006 with record profits, subject to review by an independent auditor. The Company has forecasted $120 million in profitable revenue for 2007. Yesterday, the common stock of NewMarket traded over 2 million shares exceeding its daily trading volume average and the share price closed above the 200 day moving average. In the 4th quarter of 2006, Beacon Equity Research issued an independent analyst report rating NewMarket as an "Outperform" with a fair market value of $0.78 PPS compared to the current $0.35 PPS.
Record Financial Performance
NewMarket has already reported $53.2 million in revenue for the first nine months of 2006, up 53% from $34.8 million reported in the first nine months of 2005. The Company also reported a 57% increase in net income before currency translation ($2.3m v. $1.6m) and gross profit up 14% ($15.0m v. $13.2m) in the first nine months of 2006 over the first nine months in 2005.
