Gradient Named In Biovail RICO Stock Manipulation Suit

I don't have a lot of time, but wanted to get this out there - Gradient Analytics, who is being sued along with Rocker Partners by OSTK, was just named in a massive, $4+ billion dollar RICO suit being brought by Biovail.

So the poor, victimized lads are going to get to test their SLAPP defense yet again.

RICO. Triple Damages. Hedge funds. Stock Manipulation.

Huh.

The pressure keeps mounting. This activity will stop when the criminals figure out it's going to cost them more than they're making. Add in some major prison time and asset seizures and maybe-just maybe-we'll get them to play nice.

Some of these companies have compiled an incredible amount of evidence. Mostly it all leads to SAC, which leads to....well, let's just say this is BIG. Time to start playing this up.

Better than Gradient is SAC Capital.

It was my understanding that SAC Capital was getting all the short sale orders in they could on Refco when many others could not locate a share to short. hmmmmm

Then again, when you have the money that Steve Cohen has, there is NEVER enough.

Couple this chart with the mounting pressure on naked shorting, todays BVF law suit and it just makes you go hmmmmm.

Dont assume its about naked shorting -- that may come in but it is primarily about hedge funds trading on inside clinical and script writing info gleaned from doctors and researchers thru boutiques like Gerson Lehman (named in the suit). Gradient probably used some of this info in its selectively disclosed "research". This has huge implications and is coupled with an SEC investigation.

Mr. Cohen and his clients my end up with a lot less if they are found guilty.. Even his 40% fees won't bail him out if BVF takes 4.3B of the holdings.

Patchie, REFCO has offered the SEC a snap shot frozen in time. literally. Some got caught in the net when the stock was halted. The volume was HUGE in those last days.
