I rarely use the word brilliant. Far less than I wish I could, and the only reason I get to use it at all these days is because I'm fortunate enough to have brilliant contributors to this site. This letter to the SEC is brilliant, and a must read and distribute. UPDATE: STATE OF LA SERVED UBSS WITH DEMAND FOR DISCOVERY IN SEDONA

Nobody can seem to agree just how large the delivery failure problem really is. To complicate matters further, the CNS system artificially reduces the number of FTDs reported by the DTCC - in other words, the problem is likely much, much worse than the numbers from the DTCC admit...

This blog's subject matter is actually too bizarre for description. Suffice it to say that it's a little weird when you have pundits on Yahoo making stuff up in order to mount ad hominem attacks, and the SEC provably misstating the data in ways that would make the most larcenous mob accountant proud...UPDATE: DAVE PATCH DEBUNKING NOW LIVE AND LINKED

It's really wild. I mean, the SEC is caught red handed in a cover-up, of the extent of the naked short selling crisis as well as its impact on investors and targeted companies, and hard data is finally available to prove the duplicity and collusion, and the NY Press is silent. Not even Gasparino comments. Amazing. Or rather, completely expected.

Being a Specialist firm on the NYSE has NEVER been better. Of course, only on Wall Street can costs remain the same, volume increase only moderately, and yet profits go ballistic. I'm quite sure all that cash is being created legitimately....
